I’m getting quite attached to this little boy and his duckling friend, who have already featured in another of my Illustration Friday pieces (Open).

The theme of grow made me think of him, telling a bit fat fib to keep himself out of trouble.

I wonder what he’s done… perhaps been digging into the ice-cream tub or lolly jar without permission? Perhaps he broke the upstairs window with a cricket ball! Maybe he ate his mother’s sacred chocolate supply, the only sweet she can eat because she’s allergic to the preservatives placed in all manner of other confectionary!
